Yawama Kids’ beautiful aprons for children are hand made in Zambia. Put the apron on and unleash the creativity! Great when baking or helping out with cooking dinner – or while cutting and pasting in the hobby room. This Zebra apron was hand painted by artists at Tribal Textiles in Zambia., where traditional African art meets modern design. The production of these aprons takes place in harmony with nature and the local community. In a region where unemployment is high, Tribal Textiles is a significant employer with approximately one hundred employees.
Facts: The aprons are hand painted with pigment colour on 100% cotton. The long and loving manufacturing process consists of milling, starching, sun drying and boiling of the fabrics before the textile is cut and sewn. These aprons are easily machine washed. Please take note that the colours are mixed by hand and therefore slight variations in colour occur. They may also contain minor rest material from the starching process which can easily be washed off.
Available apron sizes:
Small (2-4 years)
Medium (5-10 years)
